The fee is due only after you accept an application, verifications are complete, you and the traveler confirm dates and rent, and the agreement is ready to sign. Our cancellation policy applies.
How CoStint handles money
During our pilot, rent processing is free, so the placement fee is the only thing CoStint charges. Rent paid through CoStint checkout goes directly to the landlord's own account, minus any processing fee shown up front. CoStint never holds rent. Security deposits are held by CoStint during the stay and returned after move-out according to your agreement. If a landlord makes a claim on a deposit, a person reviews it before any money moves. CoStint isn't a property manager. The lease is between the traveler and the landlord.
